This piece started as an attempt at a score for a student film by Morgan Dameron. The film showed a woman at her engagement party, and running away to be with another man, whom she loved better. I was unable to find string players in time to record the score or play the recital, so I reorchestrated the piece for this modified woodwind quintet.
